Red Ribbon Week

This week is Red Ribbon week at Charlie's school. It's red ribbons for being drug free or something like that. Anyway, they have theme days all this week. Today was red day: wear all red. My child took this literally:

Nevermind that that's three different shades of red, ha! Now, I really did try to reason with Charlie this morning and told him that all the other kids would have on jeans and red shirts (which all the ones I saw in the carpool line this morning did) but if you know Charlie then you really know that there is not much reasoning with him, especially when you're running late and you have to get five kids dressed, fed and loaded. Sometimes it's just easier to give in and let him have his way. No doubt, I bet he'll be the most red child in that whole school! Gotta love him!
